The New Orleans native is back. The CD name Raw and Uncut says it all. He delivers real lyrics about the game and the streets and never says sorry for anything he says. Songs like Keep It Ghetto and Penitentiary Chances show his more hood style. You can take me out the ghetto but can't take the ghetto outta me show how he's living. Songs featuring the return of Bubba Sparxxx, Kenoe and Tooley bring this CD to a straight underground feel. Dat Look shows both Bubba Sparxxx's and Turk's anger towards what seems to be an ex girlfriend. The rapper who was discovered in 1996 rhyming in the projects isn't afraid to take it back to where he came from and show the lifestyle he lived there. Lyrics like I'm tired of being broke, tired of being on my ass show that though he may be signed and producing CDs he is still living a ghetto life that he isn't happy about. Although the tracks that show his anger and hate towards his life or how he's been treated songs like I Love You For Dat show that he appreciates his mother for the things she has done for him, and the inspiration she gave him for his rapping. After that is off his chest he does a nice club banger called Whatcha Drinkin On featuring Kenoe and Tooley, who rip the track to shreds. The music he delivers seems to move you into a trance as he takes you back to the ghetto with his lyrics and delivery. Koch Records did a great job with some beats and all production. His lyrics and flow is unbelievable and never relaxing for a minute. Although some beats were a little too funky to listen to. That's why I gave the CD 4 out of 5. If you looking for a hood banger then this is the CD for you.
