I'mma Be Here starts with
Choppa flowing acapella style the beat eventually comes in and Choppa
continues wrecking flow I have to admit those that have only heard the
mainstream radio singles from the album will be impressed. The beat breaks
down toward the end and I'm sure you will find your head nodding and singing
along with the chorus.
Represent Yo Block is the second track which features B Gizzle also known as
B.G. from Cash Money. Kenoe produced the track and it defiantly sounds like
something you would find B.G. spitting too. BG drops a tight verse but it
seems to lack charisma toward the end still a hot verse, however Choppa
picks it back up with plenty of style and hype.
Straight From The N.O. is one of my favorite tracks... the track is
obviously about representing New Orleans. Big Man picks it up after another
chorus I'm sure will be stuck in heads for days, and drops a real hot verse
naming off all the crunk blocks. Choppa follows with his own fire with a bit
of a faster style I have to admit after hearing the singles from the album
even though they are both good tracks I wasn't all that impressed but after
only hearing the first three tracks that totally changed Choppa has allot of
talent and defiantly a unique style, and with Master P producing I wouldn't
be surprised to see this album go Gold easy and most likely platinum.
Choppa Style is the first radio single from the album which I'm sure most of
you unless you've been asleep for a few months have heard by now. I've heard
the track spun at various clubs and it defiantly got the place moving. For
those of you that are confused or not aware Choppa Style is a dance...
Master P drops a verse after Choppa, the track suits P's style well and just
makes the song that much better Master P has said so much in his rap's just
about everything he gets on now will at some point make you say awe. Ya'll
know what I'm talking about.
Dirty Dirty is one of the hottest tracks off the album. Sort of a Cash Money
sounding beat, but Choppa comes proper all the way with his flow.
Holla At Me features Curren$y another hot and upcoming new no limit artist
who drops his verse last but his style, raps and voice compliment Choppa's
well, the beat sounds like something you would hear from some older no limit
productions. However I haven't heard a "filler track" yet.
Brick Jungle is done over a up paced crunk beat, Choppa drops his flame once
again over the awesome beat. The chorus is Choppa repping his spot and
giving directions to it at that. LOL.
Keep It Poppin' features Weebie and Money and resembles Kane & Abel's Shake
it Like a Dawg, Everyone comes with tight verses. The track is again one of
my favorites off the album. The chorus along with whole track is crunk.
Aaahhh (Oh Yeah) is the second single from the album which you should once
again have heard on your local radio waves no matter where you live. Choppa
kicks his verse with a sort of laid back gangster vibe but by the mid of the
song he picks it up a bit and might leave your head bobbin ever after the
song is over.
Lookin' Good is a nice change up the chorus is done by Jahbo and it sounds
real nice. I hate to do it but Choppa sounds allot like Juvenile on this
cut, cop the album to see if you agree. Choppa drops another tight verse...
how many times have I said that now? :)
Hatin' features Money and Hype from Boss Hogg Ent. Choppa comes hard with
various industry metaphors and jokes through out his raps. The track is
pretty much Choppa defending his title and skills with a Hater Skit done by
Money and Hype on going till the end.
Shake It Like That features Curren$y and Kango who does the vocals which I'm
not feeling all that much. Curren$y drops a average but still hot verse, I
don't think there's anyone who sounds like Curren$y or vice versa at least
that I can think of anyway which is a good thing of course. Good track but
I'm not feeling the chorus.
Choppa Rock is similar to Choppa style done in a different style... the
track thumps hard though and is defiantly worth pepping. The electronic
noises and crowd effect set the beat off which was produced by Sinista.
Gettin' Money features Curren$y again who drops his verse first for a change
who spits about flossing and flam boasting. Choppa comes correct once again,
however I will point out the fact that you will NOT be able to count the
times you hear Choppa's name thru out the album, not really annoying or
anything just a fact.
Outro is Master P with a Public Service Announcement over the Gettin' Money
about fake rappers and rappers who diss others to come up and such.
The last two tracks are bonus tracks so I will leave a bit of suspense for
you, this album is defiantly going to bang thru out the year and I again
wouldn't be surprised to see it go platinum. I'm going to give it 5 out of 5
for obvious reason's if you've read the whole review. |
