“I got the internet goin’ nuts!”

The only person who can claim that phrase with more validity than Swhishahouse’s great white hype is a man by the name of Carlos Cartel.

After controversial pictures of what appears to be Cartel holding a .45 with Juvenile’s own UTP chain were leaked onto the internet, everyone wants to know who is this guy and how did he get a hold of the former Hot Boy’s hardware?

While Juvey and UTP are being contacted for a response to these accusations, Carlos Cartel gives it to you in his own words – raw and uncut.

First of all, who the fuck is Carlos Cartel?
Shit, Carlos Cartel – shit, street nigga from day 1. Go back, I laid it down from Memphis, Tennessee; to New York; to Virginia; to Georgia, to Florida; all over the muthafucka. You understand?

What’s your relationship to Juvenile and to Cash Money Records?
Shit, that go back to ’99, 2000. When I first run into them niggas, when they first came out…I ran into them niggas in the mall. I ran up on Baby. I said, ‘Which one of you niggas is Cash Money?’ He said, “All of us.” So, I harassed him in the mall. He invited me to the club. I’m like 16 and all that. I tried to sneak out the house to go to the club to and rap with this nigga. I ain’t even know this nigga name. I’m telling the security guard, ‘The nigga with the gold teeth invited me.” The nigga was like, “Shit, all of’em got gold teeth.” So to make a long story short, that muthafucka didn’t let me in. I sat outside, toiling. It’s raining and shit. I fucked around and fell asleep outside waiting on these niggas in the woods. I wake up, the fucking bus gone. Everybody gone. Six months later, a muthafucka move in my apartment (complex), a lady with two sons. She grew up with them muthafuckas and me and her son started a group. She just gave the demo to Baby and he just let us roll with him.

Where was all this at?
This was in Virginia. Newport News, Virginia.

She gave the demo to Baby. Then what happened then?
We was young. We was still in school. We was too young and all that other shit, so whatever city we in that they would be in he just invited us. We get on the tour bus. We kick it with them. Every time, back stage, he have us rap against Lil’ Wayne or rap for him and all that other shit. We be in New Orleans, we hook up with him. Whatever state we be in we just hook up with him. Go to the hotels. Fucking with Slim, fucking with Baby and all the rest of them niggas.

What you doing with the UTP chain man?
Shit, I might put that on the market. I might just give that to the dope man for a couple of ounces or might just put them diamonds in my teeth. I don’t give a fuck about the chain. The chain is just a symbol of who got the last laugh out of the situation me and that nigga had.

Who are you talking about? Juvenile?
Yeah, Juvenile.

Okay, well what was the situation with that dude?
It was on tour. The Baller Blockin’ Tour. We was in the city, Newport News, and I had just came back. My family, my brother and my niggas was there, so I invited them to the hotel and shit. So, Juvenile is waiting at the elevator, his bodyguard and some bitches and shit. I guess the elevator finally came down, he say the bitches couldn’t get on. As the elevator’s closing my hand grabs the elevator so me and my niggas walk on in. So we going up. I’m telling my niggas to holla at Baby and all them ‘cause them niggas rap too. This muthafucka (Juvenile) coming out his mouth, talking ‘bout some, “Ya’ll groupies can’t be kicking it with me like that, can’t be following me!” So we looking at this nigga like, ‘What?! Groupies?! Boy, fuck you!” We try to swing at the nigga. He got this big-ass bodyguard sitting there blocking the whole shit. He getting stuck in his face trying to block Juvenile and shit. The nigga’s (the bodyguard) like, “Man, just get ahead and get off the elevator. He drunk…” A nigga like, “Shit, we don’t give a fuck he drunk or not!” I respected dude, his security guard, so we got off for the security guard and shit. Long story short man – his (Juvenile) bitch-ass hiding behind a security guard and come out his mouth wrong, calling us groupies and shit. A nigga wasn’t even paying no attention to his bitch-ass. So that little remark come out his mouth – You still gotta pay the consequence when you fuckin’ with a real nigga when ya come out ya mouth like that. Shit ain’t just gonna slide like that. Calling niggas groupies. You might as well come out and say pussies. You feel what I’m sayin’?

How much you think that chain and UTP charm are worth?
Off the top of my head, a good $10-$15,000. Just enough to put a street nigga on his feet mane.

Where you at now?
I’m in Chucktown, South Carolina.

Charleston.
Charleston mane. Home of the brave man. We’re real niggas and real souljas at.

So what’s the chain around the gun symbolizing?
That symbolize, it’s not only for Juvenile, shit’s real down here too. South Carolina is the only state down South that ain’t on the map. You got niggas from Mississippi, niggas from Alabama, Florida, Georgia (on). South Carolina is the only state that ain’t on. Niggas overlook us. That (goes) to show that, ‘Nigga, we real down here too and ya bitch-ass can get got…” That symbolizes “Fuck Juvenile” from my situation, but it also symbolize “You can get ya ass stopped up down here because shit real down here.” Niggas don’t shout us on songs. They shout out every down South state except for (South) Carolina. But now, ya ass (will) probably shout us out now because ya ass will probably get stuck up the next time you come down here. So, I suggest you throw our state up in ya goddamn song. Not only Juvenile, a couple of other muthafuckas done got stuck up when they came down here. Like Trill Entertainment. Webbie and his people, I fuck with them, no disrespect to them. Webbie boy gets stuck up when he was down here. I got a good relationship with them. Everything cool with them, but shit, they got stuck up down here. Matter of fact, niggas from Charleston fought they ass after the concert because they said them niggas threw a weak-ass show. Niggas seen they ass after the concert for that weak-ass show they thrown. Shit’s real down here too.

*UPDATE* PART 2

Are you worried about Juvenile or UTP retaliating?

Oh, oh shit no! Shit no! I got realer niggas on the streets who probably out to get my ass. I ain’t worried about them. Niggas gon’ come regardless. I got chains. I got diamonds my damn self and niggas probably want that so I ain’t worried about that shit. That right there, that’s the least I got to worry about. Like I said, I done kicked it with these niggas. I done peeped these niggas out man. Look them niggas ain’t man – listen, a lot of the rappers, they ain’t bout what they be talkin’ about. All them niggas just pen and paper niggas to me. Like I just tell you nigga, I just get out early today off of a armed robbery charge them crackas tried to stick on me man. Them niggas to me is nothing but pen and paper man, ya know?

Didn’t you try to ransom that chain back?

Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. We ain’t get no word back. I guess them niggas would feel like a bitch if they paid for something that’s theirs, but shit that’s how the game go.

How much did you try to ransom it off for?

Shit, I think 5G’s. Like I say, that’s enough to take to the dope man and get right off it.

How did you get a hold of this chain in the first place?

Juvenile, he came down here to The Chuck. He came to a little kiddie club, Coyotes. When I mean kiddie, I mean for little teenagers like 16, 17, 18, 19. Basically where them little children be at. I be at a muthafuckin’ ghetto-ass club called Palm Tree where the goddamn gangstas, and the souljas and the hood-rat bitches be. After the club, I get a phone call from one of these bitches I know saying she on his bus. She know me and the nigga don’t fuck around like that – telling me she seen this nigga go in the bathroom and he took his chain off, throw it on the bed. I said, “Shit, go ahead and snatch that bitch.”

Who!? Juvenile took his chain off!?

Juvenile. She eyeballing the nigga all that man. I mean you got bitches on the bus man, shit you got to keep your eye on them bitches. Especially them bitches down here in The Chuck. I guess he didn’t check up on his chain because the bitch done snatched that from a nigga. They went to the Waffle House. Shit, a nigga went and scooped her up and damn, she dropped it in a nigga hand. It was on from then.

Let’s get into your background, your history. What made you want to get into rap?

Shit, I just liked being in the spotlight. I’m a nigga that like to stay in the mix man. Ya know, coming from the fuck where I came from man, shit man, my daddy died of AIDS. Man listen, my used to be just how I am now, fly and flashy. Fucking all the bitches. Drugs started getting in his life. Nigga started shooting up – died of AIDS and shit, ya know? Shit, like father, like son. Now I’m fly and flashy. Now I’m on drugs. Now I’m on all this shit right here. It ain’t nothing but a repeat man, but a nigga still trying to have a strong mind; at least do something for his family or at least do something. You gon’ die regardless. That’s a promise. So, why not do what the fuck you wanna do and what I want to do is rap. Childhood dream from back in the days doing talent shows and shit man, ya know?

At one time wasn’t Cash Money trying to sign you or you were trying to be part of the Hot Boys or something?

Yeah, but shit, everything happens for a reason because look where they at now. Them niggas ain’t got nobody. They ship coming back to the dock. I would’ve just been a nigga on contract not doing nothing like a lot of niggas was. Like Lac, Stone, all them niggas from back in the days ain’t dropped shit. Now them niggas on they own doing they own thing. Like I say, everything happen for a reason man. Fuck Baby too! I ain’t got no love. Fuck all them niggas! I ain’t got no love for them niggas. Fuck all them niggas!

So, what do you think it’s going to take for South Carolina to get on the map the way you want it to be on the map?

Shit like this! Muthafuckas hating the old niggas, coming down here getting jacked. Getting slapped up. Getting they ass beat. Then that’ll put a focus (on us). (People will) say, “Okay, shit real down here. Then let’s see what music they making.” See what I’m saying.

Well what about the Carolina sound? Do you think cats like Petey Pablo and them…

Oh no, he not South Carolina. He’s North Carolina and we don’t rap like that down here. We don’t rap like that, all that screaming and all that fuck shit down here man. Niggas straight street, raw. Niggas like Dino. Niggas like Fat Boy. Niggas like myself. Straight street and raw. Give it to you how it is. Muthafuckas might criticize our music because we might tell it a little too much how it is.

What’s next for you? What do you think your future holds for you after shit like this? This is a hell of a way to come out man. 50 Cent came out this way and you see the consequences of him doing the shit this way.

Yeah, the difference between me and 50 is when he first came out talking about the “How to Rob” (song) was he didn’t know them niggas he was talking about. He was just making a song about robbin’. See I know. Like I said, this really come off of a personal situation me and the nigga (Juvenile) had. It ain’t no, “Oh, just fuck this nigga.” Me trying to get on through some hatin’ shit. He might of forgotten about the situation, but when you come out ya mouth all kinds of ways man there’s niggas out there that take that shit to heart. Niggas want to get at you, just for the simple fact that they ain’t shit and you shit. They waiting for you to say something out ya mouth and come at they ass wrong so they can fuck ya ass up. That’s why he better be careful what he say and what he do because shit like this can go down. You know what I’m sayin? Now who got the last laugh because I’m wiping my ass with this nigga chain. After I wipe my ass I do shine the diamonds back up, but I do wipe my ass with his chain for the simple fact of fuck that nigga.

Do you have any CD’s or albums out right now? Any mixtapes?

Yeah, I got “Murda Man Shit Vol. 1 & 2” on the streets. I got “The Comeback Vol. 1 & 2” on the streets. I got the new album I’m working on called “Locked and Loaded: AK-47,” ya understand? And I got the Juvenile Diss Song on that muthafucka too. You can go to DJ Chuck T’s website (www.djchuckt.com) or shit, you can hit me up at 843-532-1564. I mail you a copy or do whatever I got to do to get it to ya ass.

At this point and time UTP said they have no comment on the accusations, but Cartel claims to have a direct recording of a conversation with representatives from UTP trying to negotiate the return of Juvenile’s UTP chain that will be on an upcoming mixtape.

This entire story will be reprinted in an upcoming issue of the Urban Timez. Keep checking for the relaunching of the magazine and Web site (www.urbantimez.com) real soon.
