Boo & Gotti Street Team www.cashmoney-records.com
What's going on guys?
What up Jamison this Boo, this Gotti what's up?

What's going on?
(Boo) Nothing much just working this album man, you know single Aint it man featuring lil wheezy Aint it man that's our slang from Chicago you know sugar slim came up with the concept, just wanted to know the slang we go by you know I mean, and we just do it at em like that then we and banged it out we shot the video and everything.

First off I'd like to ask how the two of you both got your names Boo & Gotti?
(Boo) It's just our names ya know. Gotti's been that they gave him that name as a youngster. And my name was like giving to me as a nickname so we Aint you know, we do us its just the nicknames we been called.

How did the two of you meet?
(Boo) We was already homie's we grew up in the same neighbor hood our family knew each other, you know we wasn't the best of homie's we didn't hang together or whatever, but we knew each other families and everything and had respected em we just happened to be doing the same thing Gotti was doing a independent thing he had a label he was pushing and I was already hooked up with r Kelly trying to get my thing together to, so as it came we both met each other and we was doing the same thing and we just jammed from day one.

How did ya'll first get in the game?
(Gotti) Well, R Kelly put us in the game, R Kelly first put us in the game like he said, I started independent I stopped hustling I grew up hustling since I was 13-14 hustling banging, got locked up beat my case and when I got out I just wanted all positive around me I didn't want to go back to the negative, so I changed from negative to positive the money I made hustling in the street and stuff I opened a independent label barcode's tax's all the ligament stuff, paid different artist and different producers to get on the album and in like 3 months I sold around 14-15,000 units and boo gave the cd to r Kelly and he put us together from there its was just history it was Boo & Gotti we started working together doing songs he put us on the I wish remix then the fiesta then the fiesta remix with him and jay z, feeling on your booty remix and it went from there. You know what I'm saying we was a group and we was known, uh, your guy Jermaine Dupri put us on his album with Usher. And then we got on the Ja Rule album pain is love and Irv Gotti put us on the fast and furious soundtrack and you know what I'm saying it was just moving everyone knew who we were Boo & Gotti, we was doing the mix tapes already with DJ Clue and all that and the mix tapes in Chicago and everything. Other than that we was just working hard, making it happen we was bonding with each other, Boo we the opposites you know Boo laid back he's a thinker he gotto the club he got the party atmosphere vibes and you know what I'm saying gangster. I'm more outgoing aggressive and loud spoken plenty energy I'm always around you know what I'm saying. Boo, Boo will bounce me out if I'm whylin out to much he will hold me down tell me to cool out or whatever you know what I'm saying we like brothers we work out good for each other.

You used to be signed to R Kelly's Rockland label how did you get on Cash Money?
(Gotti) R Kelly decided to put his label to rest for a minute you know on hold, he just had to many act's going he was writing producing for everybody in the industry then he was doing his own music and his tour. So there was only so much he could do for us with giving us a 100% and he was getting tired of trying to be a CEO. So he put his label on hold, he put Rockland on hold, and just told us the lil connection with the people we had networked and everything and there was a few bills offered but cash money sounded like the best and r Kelly though it was the best so we went with it. In fact we hooked Kelly up with a song from the Big Tymers he did a song or two for them that's going to be on their new album. He did a song on mine and boo's album, sung on it produced it and we did a song with him a few months ago that's going to be on his album so we still work together still a team and everything, it was just business you know just move and transition but was the best for both of us.

Was adapting from Kelly to Baby and Mannie hard? Ya'll all work well together?
(Boo) We didn't find it difficult at all cuz its the same type of work ethic they hard worker sand got high expectations for this year so it was like we never left one situation and they easy to talk to and they just let us do us and everything.
(Gotti) It's life family with them too. Baby and Slimm they so smart they got the game locked, they got a beautiful track record. They told us we could do us we could work with who we wanna work with, still get the features we wanted so that's how we got r Kelly to produce on the album, Kauni west he's from Chicago he from the west he's with Roc-A-Fella. Jazee Pha he's from Atlanta, Leslie he's from Atlanta to he did our single Aint it man so you know we worked with everyone we wanted to. We like that flavor the east coast, west coast mid west we just locked em all in, we did Chicago, but we done been to so many cities and states with so many people in the industry since we been on top like we just trying to give it to em from everything we saw and been thru you know what I'm saying.

Your single Aint It Man has been doing really well, can we expect the rest of the album to be as hot though?
(Both) AHHH, Yeah (Gotti) We got the next single that's crazy right after that its called Baby Girl with TQ on the hook its got the club vibe radio hit with that fiesta vibe ya feel. Then the third single R Kelly on there titled Dear Ghetto, its crazy to. We got it all mapped out like a book we got a album, we got four or five joints for the streets the hustlers and thugs, three four for the woman and ladies, three for the clubs three to five for the radio I'm talking about the album is crazy its a album. That's what Slimm is best he is the man with that I mean how to make the album do this that and that, then Mannie came along listened to and did the tracks last he was like yawl got this yawl got that yawl got this yawl got that now I'm going to give yawl this. We got big people around us and we take they advice you know cuz they Aint on top for nothing. So we've been blessed to have some of the greatest people around us. Were just blessed to have big people around us R Kelly, Irv Gotti, Ja Rule, Dupri, Cash Money, Slimm, Baby we work with the best people in the game you know so we keep god first work hard and give it everything we got.

Any guest appearances on there or is just ya'll putting it down?
(Gotti) R Kelly, Cash Money, the full cash money Cadillac Todd. Not alot of guest's on there mostly us we wanted to come give everything we got you know cuz we've been on so many features from the undisputed and fast and furious soundtracks and all so we really wanted the people to hear us and what we got to say.

What is yawl's favorite track off the album so far?
(Gotti) Ahh, I'm going to have to let Boo tell you his cuz you know I got alot and not cuz its my album I mean its hot I like like eight of em. (Boo) Of course our single Aint it man, that's just something no body done, you know what I mean, that's Chicago slang like we would be like crunk magazine doing they thing and Gotti would be like Aint they man you just finish of the sentence that's the slang in Chicago from the hood or block or even if you Aint from the hood or block we just wanted to take it world wide. That's why that song is important then we got the Baby Girl that song is crazy that's for the woman and radio, the dear ghetto from r Kelly that's heart felt let em see our side. The song with Jazze Pha is crazy for the ladies called think it over, he did that he sung the hook fresh produced it. We got Mommy lets roll Jazze Pha produced it we happy with. Every time we would finish a track we would try to hit em with something different, we challenged ourselves. We got one called out here its straight like about our family and how we came up in the hood its real its gangster I'm excited about all of em as you can see I could go on all day.

What's it like when yall get down for writing, things calm quiet and everything or ya'll just get on the pad and do your thing regardless of what's going on?
(Gotti) Ahh if its the whole click family we just vive off of everything like a party kind of. But if its just the two of us we just vibe off of each other, we don't really sit down and try to make sure we touch something we just vibe and say what we feel.

Word is Juvenile has came back home to Cash Money, what are yawl's thoughts on that and the other former members of CMR?
We don't know anything about that we haven't heard anything about that. Mannie & Baby haven't said anything about that so we would be lying if we said we did know something.

Your debut album on Cash Money is titled Perfect Timing, can you give me the down low on why you wanted to title it that?
(Gotti) We had a chance to come out with R Kelly on a couple of dates, we had a date or two with cash money we just felt like if it was going to come out when it was ready it would have been out. But perfect timing is its going to come out when its supposed to come out so it pretty much named its self perfect timing. Cuz you know we have been in the game since 2000 but we got with Kelly in 99 so it'll never be when you want it to come out it as a artist it will be when they feel like it should come out so that's how we look at it so perfect time July 22nd.

Well ya'll got a minute before your album drops on July 22nd but after that what's next for ya'll? Should we expect to see alot more of Boo & Gotti soon?
(Boo & Gotti) Grinding, working it every city were touring with Cash Money, some guest appearances, just stay working it in the studio and doing the thing.

Any last words or shout outs?
